Your handcrafted fashion accessory was created with quality material and lots of love.  Over time, all metals tarnish, including precious metals.   In order to extend the life of your piece, please consider these care instructions:

DO ensure your item is a good fit.  Ill-fitting accessories can create tension and cause premature breakage.

DO allow all oils/lotions/santizer, fragrance, and hairspray to penetrate the skin/hair before adorning yourself with your accessory.  Oils/alchohols can damage the metal barrier and cause tarnishing* and leave buildup.

DO avoid excess moisture.  It’s best to remove or limit exposure as much as possible.  Excess water/sweat causes tarnishing.  If possible, do not wear while engaging in wet/extreme activities.

DO use a soft cloth to wipe down your accessory after wearing. Doing this removes all the natural oils from  skin/hair and other pollutants.
